La Schola Cantorum

Classes are held at La Schola Cantorum in Paris, founded in 1895 by the French composers Vincent d’Indy, Charles Bordes and Alexandre Guilmant.

Be part of the rich history of La Schola Cantorum. Composers such as Eric Satie, Darius Milhaud, Edgar Varèse, David Diamond, Bohuslav Martinu, and Isaac Albania and organists such as Louis Vierne, Olivier Messiaen, Maurice Duruflé, and Jean Langlois have studied and taught at La Schola.

La Schola Cantorum itself is an historic 17th Century ‘Hôtel Particulier, The Schola Cantorum boasts a fully operational original 1902 Cavaillé-Coll organ, Steinway concert grand, and its own private gardens.
